In May 2015 founder Sensei Turan Kiani who is a 2nd Dan, started TKJ in Dagenham on the same principle as the successful JoDan Judo Club.
Toshi Kazoku Judokwai, when translated into English, means

‘The Fighting Spirit Family’.
We believe that this is the perfect way to describe our club as we are one big extended family of judo players, all with the same aims and ideas.
By becoming a member of our club we now consider you as a member of our family and we hope you will enjoy your judo career with us.
We focus on working together as one big family to help children achieve their personal goals.
